Mr Achim Burkart is currently the Consul General at the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bengaluru. Earlier he served as Germany’s ambassador to Zambia.  As part of his diplomatic service, he has worked at the German missions in Paris, Hanoi, and Cairo. He has also served as the head of the division of the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin.
